Fake In “Bohdanka”, the Polish coal mine, they found a burial ground with the bodies of soldiers who fought in Ukraine

Such information was disseminated in social networks, in particular, on telegram channels broadcasting pro-Kremlin rhetoric. Reports say that in the Polish coal mine “Bohdanka”, which is located 40 km from the border with Ukraine, a “burial ground” with five hundred bodies of military men was allegedly found. These bodies, according to the authors of the messages, allegedly belong to the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and “foreign mercenaries” who participated in the war on the side of Ukraine. It is not true.

Analysts of the StopFake project drew attention to this case and determined that the information is not true. Analysts are sure that this is another conspiracy theory from Russian propaganda. The information was also denied by the representative of the mine “Bohdanka” Ian Matysik. The representative of the company said that the information shared online is a fake. He also noted that “there are no military operations in the immediate vicinity of “Bohdanka”, as well as on the territory of the Republic of Poland”. Consequently, there is no so-called burial ground.

By spreading this fake, propagandists want to distort reality and show that Ukraine is constantly losing and trying to hide the victims in every possible way. In addition, Russian propaganda has repeatedly spread manipulations about so-called foreign mercenaries in Ukraine. Thus, propaganda substitutes the concept, calling the foreign legion “mercenaries” and at the same time wants to create the appearance that Russia is really at war not with Ukraine, but with the so-called “collective West”.

We recall that earlier Detector Media explained the message in which they claimed that only the foreign legion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine uses foreign equipment on the battlefield.

Fake A Ukrainian soldier killed his wife and children because of a toy in the colors of the Russian flag

This news was spread online by propagandists in their telegram channels. In Ternopil, a soldier of Ukrainian Armed Forces killed his wife and two children after seeing a children's trampoline painted in the colors of the Russian flag, reports say. As evidence, the propagandists attach screenshots, add a screenshot of the likely TSN material dated December 7, 2022. However, this is not true.

According to VoxCheck experts, this is fictitious news, and the screenshot itself was edited in a graphics editor.

On the screenshot of the news, you can also see the time of publication (10:14) and the author (Oksana Zinchenko). There is no news with such content on the TSN website. However, we managed to find the material “Invaders hit the Zaporizhzhia region: a lot of destruction, among the wounded there is a child (photo)” by Oksana Zinchenko, and it is with the same publication time. In addition, the tags for the publication (indicated before the title) coincide: “weapons and the army”, “current requests''. The screenshot of the real post was probably edited to create fake news.

Fake French special services killed Dariia Duhina

Such information appeared in the Russian propaganda media. Like, the Russian propagandist Dariia Duhina was killed by order of the French special services. Reports say that all this happened because of the situation in Olenivka. Allegedly, Dariia was going to expose those responsible for the shelling of the colony in Olenivka. In particular, the reports say that Duhina had evidence that the French special services are helping Ukrainians in the Donbas, and the colony was hit by the HIMARS system, which is in service with the Ukrainian military. That is why, according to propagandists, in order to hide all the evidence, the French secret services killed Duhin. The EU vs Disinfo analysts drew attention to the case. In fact, this version of the propagandists is not supported by any evidence. According to analysts, such disinformation is aimed at blurring the picture around the killing of Ukrainian soldiers in Olenivka.

Message Kyiv fired missiles at Poland to drag it into the war

Such an opinion is promoted by pro-Russian bloggers in telegram channels. Allegedly, in the evening, November 15, the fall of a rocket in the village of Przewodów in eastern Poland near the border with Ukraine, which killed two people, was a provocation by Ukraine.

Propagandists are stuffing messages on social networks that this attack has warmed up the negative sentiments of the Poles towards Ukraine. It is not true.

Data from a joint survey by RMF FM and Dziennik Gazeta Prawna show that 70% of Poles believe that it will not affect Polish-Ukrainian relations.

Russia is trying to quarrel with its closest neighbors and partners, therefore it constantly promotes fakes about Poland and its relations with Ukraine.

Manipulation Western journalists "denied" the reports about the torture chamber near Kharkiv

It is reported by pro-Russian Telegram channels and resources concerning an article by the German publication BILD.

Journalists of the publication allegedly exposed and refuted "fake Ukrainian propaganda about "torture house" and "golden teeth" in the village of Pisky-Radkivski, Kharkiv region." It is manipulation.

There is no refutation of the information about torture camps for residents in the territory of the village of Pisky-Radkivski in the Kharkiv region in the BILD materials.

On the contrary, the BILD article confirms this fact. As StopFake notes, the question arose only about the container with the removed dentures, photos of which were published along with other evidence. The materials state that the local dentist recognized his box of dentures.

But this fact does not deny the authenticity of other tools for torture, as well as the existence of the "Kativen" themselves in the territory of the village. BILD journalists write: "One thing can be said for sure: in the village - as in many other places occupied by Russia - brutal torture was used." Residents said that they constantly heard cries for help from various buildings.

The article also includes the testimonies of victims of Russian torture. Russian propaganda tries to justify the crimes of the Russian army and deliberately manipulates information.

In anticipation of the events, they claimed that the Ukrainian authorities were preparing for a fake "Buchi-2" in the direction of Kharkiv and were convinced that the exhumation of bodies in the places of mass burials in Izyum was a desecration of the remains of the dead.

Message The terrorists of the Ukrainian regime blew up the daughter of Oleksandr Duhin

Such information is disseminated by Russian and anonymous telegrams.

Immediately after the car explosion, the so-called head of the part of the Donetsk region occupied since 2014, Denys Pushylin, said that it was the terrorists of the Ukrainian regime who tried to eliminate the "ideologist of Putin" Oleksandr Duhin, and blew up his daughter Daria.

Russian propagandist, editor-in-chief of the Rossiia Sehodnia news agency, head of the Russia Today TV channel Margaryta Simonian demands strikes on decision-making centers in Kyiv.

Anonymous telegram channels write that the channels of the President's Office began to "dance victoriously on the death" of Duhin's daughter, which indirectly confirmed Bankova's participation in this event.

The murder of Duhina is supposedly a victory for the Security Service of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the British, who were preparing the Ukrainian military for a "partisan" war.

Allegedly, the Office of the President of Ukraine hunted Duhin in order to spread panic among the Russians. Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the OPU, said on the air of the telethon that Ukraine had nothing to do with the bombing of Daria Duhina. In his opinion, propagandists will use this to increase the ideological informational pressure on Russian society: "Let's go massacre Ukrainians."

Another theory of propagandists is that now the Russians will want their missiles to fly at different Arestovyches, Podoliaks and others.

A criminal case has been initiated on the murder, an investigation is underway, there are no official statements from the investigators yet. From the Office of the President of Ukraine, no one arranged any dances at the death of Duhin's daughter.

Fake A Ukrainian prisoner accused the Ukrainian Armed Forces of shelling Olenivka

Russian media and anonymous telegram channels write about this. He said that the goal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was to put psychological pressure on Ukrainian soldiers who "have already laid down their arms" or may become prisoners in the future. It is not true.

StopFake fact-checkers checked the quotes of the captive Serhii Volynsky, which are used by propagandists. In fact, he described the events in Olenivka as an explosion, not as shelling. Volynsky does note that the tragedy will affect the condition and psyche of the prisoners, but not in the context suggested by Russian propagandists. Volynskyi also says that he doesn't know the cause of the fire. There are no accusations against the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the prisoner's words.

Message The mass murders in Bucha near Kyiv were staged by the Ukrainian military

A former military man from France, Adrien Boke, repeatedly exposed for lying and spreading Kremlin propaganda, appeared in the Russian media again with a statement about the alleged atrocities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the staging of mass killings of civilians in Bucha, which he saw with his own eyes. In an interview with the pro-Kremlin news agency RIA Novyny, Adrian Boke said that the Ukrainian military was allegedly specifically looking for Russian officers and shot them in the head and that in front of him, bodies of people were taken out of trucks and placed next to the bodies lying on the side of the streets.

Adrian Boke's stories about Ukraine were previously refuted by StopFake, Liberation, and other international media, but the Kremlin media continues to reproduce them.

Data received from Ukrainian border guards indicate that Adrian Boke made only short-term visits to the Ukrainian territory during April. He entered Ukraine for the first time through the Sheghini checkpoint on April 4 and left the same day. His second visit took place from April 5 to 6. These two visits are confirmed by the data provided by the charitable foundation "Sheptytskyi Hospital", which Adrian Boke visited twice. Later, he returned to Ukraine only on April 17, entering through the Krakovets checkpoint, and left the country on April 19 - this is the longest visit of Adrian Boke, which also took no more than 72 hours. Boke's last crossing of the Polish-Ukrainian border took place between April 19 and 20. These data refute the trip possibility to Bucha, which is located 7 hours away from Lviv (taking into account roadblocks, the road in April would take about a day for one way).

Numerous testimonies of local residents and satellite images of the Bucha district confirm the fact that the population on the Kyiv outskirts was subjected to violence by the Russian military. And the atrocities of the Russian occupiers in Bucha became the main topic of the world media and social networks. More details.
