Fake Ukraine will no longer receive American MLRS HIMARS and missiles for them

Russian media are spreading such news with reference to US Department of Defense spokesman Colin Kohl. It is not true.

The Russians again distorted the words of the American official, in fact, Colin Cole did not say this. According to StopFake, US Deputy Secretary of Defense Colin Kohl noted during a briefing that the United States will continue to help Ukraine resist Russia's unjustified invasion. He also said that the assistance will take into account the actual needs of the Ukrainian army in the battlefield. Answering a question about future deliveries of HIMARS to Ukraine, Kol noted that the Ukrainians are doing a good job with the number of systems that the Americans and other countries have already provided. Now, according to the official, the priority is to provide the Ukrainians with enough ammunition to keep them fighting. There are no any questions about termination of deliveries of HIMARS systems to Ukraine. Allies of Ukraine only note that their number is now assessed as sufficient, and ammunition for them is a priority.

Fake HIMARS missiles are transported in trams and buses

Rustem Klupov, a veteran of military intelligence, a participant in the First Chechen War, and a Hero of Russia, said this on a pro-Kremlin show on the Telegram channel.

According to him, the Russian army destroyed a lot of ammunition for this system, and the missiles’ deliveries are carried out by Ukrainian public transport, in particular in buses and trams.

Recently, the USA announced new military aid for Ukraine - the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive four HIMARS rocket launchers and other military equipment.

These modern rocket launcher systems are actively used by the Armed Forces, and this brings military victories. HIMARS proved so effective that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu ordered commanders to make their destruction a priority. Thus, Russian propagandists regularly launch fakes about the alleged HIMARS destruction. Earlier, they reported the fake destruction of two, then another, then six more HIMARS installations, and also gave burnt straw for the destroyed missiles for these installations.

Fake The Russians destroyed six American HIMARS systems

It was reported by the Russian media with reference to the Russian Minister of Defense Serhii Shoigu. It is not true.

Pentagon Press Secretary Todd Breasseale called Shoigu's message false and said that the Ukrainians "use with striking accuracy and efficiency every high-precision missile system that the United States and partners have provided to defend against the brutal criminal Russia invasion." The commander Andriy Kovalchuk also confirmed that the Russian invaders did not manage to destroy a single HIMARS system. At the beginning of August, the number of HIMARS in service with the Ukrainian military officially reached sixteen systems, and shortly there should be twenty-two of them. The publication Texty.org.ua writes about this in more detail.

Disclosure The Russians show burnt straw as a destroyed HIMARS

Pro-Kremlin media and social networks spread information, citing the representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, that the military and space forces destroyed "more than a hundred rockets to the HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system" in Lyubimovka, Dnipropetrovsk region. Allegedly, as a result of the attack, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost about 120 soldiers, and that the Russians killed "foreign mercenaries and technical specialists". "However, the strike was carried out on the agricultural enterprise hangars, in which at that time, more than 800 tons of straw were stored (according to Konashenkov, it would be possible to make from it about 100 missiles for HIMARS). In addition, one child (obviously a foreign mercenary) was injured," a fake exposed journalist Roman Tsymbalyuk.

Fake The Ukrainian military fired American HIMARS missiles at the colony in Olenivka, where Ukrainian prisoners from Azovstal are held

Information about this is spread by propaganda media concerning the Ministry of Defense of Russia. The Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly could have received incorrect information and hit the colony in Olenivka, Donetsk region, occupied by Russia until February 24, 2022. It is not true.

On the morning of July 29, the Russian media announced the shelling of the colony in Olenivka. Propagandists report that the Kyiv regime killed and maimed a large part of the 193 Ukrainian prisoners of war who surrendered and were held there in Mariupol.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that Russia shelled the colony in occupied Olenivka to cover up the torture and murder of prisoners and to accuse the Ukrainian Armed Forces of committing "war crimes."

According to the information of the General Staff, Ukraine did not launch either missile or artillery strikes on the Olenivka. People's deputy and member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security Fedir Venislavsky explained that any missile and artillery strikes carried out by the Armed Forces take place in very close cooperation with the entire intelligence community. There could not be an accidental hit, let alone a regular hit.

The SSU intercepted telephone conversations in which the occupiers confirm that Russian troops are responsible for the explosion in the Olenivka colony. There are several such audio recordings at the disposal of the Security Service of Ukraine - all of them will be included as evidence in the relevant criminal proceedings.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine believes that the killing of Ukrainian prisoners in Olenivka was organized by the mercenaries of the private military company "Wagner" on the personal instructions of Yevhen Prigozhin, without coordinating it with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

The Kremlin-sponsored news agency RIA Novosti published a video from the colony showing fire damage. The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) points out that the fire damage is not inherent in the principle of operation of "HIMARS" and that the propagandists have not provided evidence that the fragments were found in Olenivka.

Manipulation Missile strikes on the Antoniv Bridge do not harm Russian troops

Propaganda telegram channels spread the message that rocket strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Antoniv bridge in Kherson are irrelevant - it is "a matter of three beams and two liters of concrete." These messages were recorded by the Center for Strategic Communications in its study of propaganda telegram channels.

In fact, although the bridge is currently standing, it is closed to all types of vehicles. Moreover, according to the standards of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the army must stop moving on the bridge in the event of any, even minor, damage. However, according to satellite images, the bridge cannot be patched with "two liters of concrete", it has significant surface damage.

The other two bridges are a single-track railway bridge across the Dnipro and a bridge over the Kakhovska HPP dam in Nova Kakhovka. The latter was also shelled earlier, the Russians tried to repair it. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously attacked the Daryiv Bridge across the Ingulets River, which connects two parts of the right-bank Kherson Oblast occupied by the Russians.

It is obvious that all these bridges are now under the fire control of the Armed Forces and the supply of equipment to the occupiers in the region has been substantially closed. That is why the Russian army is trying to build a pontoon bridge instead of the closed Antoniv bridge. At the same time, propaganda tries to convince the audience that the destruction of bridges will not affect the situation in the region.
