Fake The United States and Great Britain announced "military intervention" in Ukraine. Such "sensational news" is spread by the Russian media

Allegedly, the United States, Great Britain and Poland “do not hide their readiness to send troops to Ukraine” and are now “preparing a pretext” for an “invasion” of Ukrainian territory. This is not true.

Representatives of the United States and Great Britain did not voice any plans for an invasion of Ukraine. It was solely about preventing the extremely dangerous actions of Russia, which is provoking a European-scale nuclear catastrophe at a seized Ukrainian nuclear facility.

In view of the fact that Russia was using the captured ZNPP as a “nuclear shield”, confirmed by Western intelligence, representatives of the UK and the US reported that a Russian attack on the ZNPP would be a violation of Article 5 of the NATO Charter. In particular, Tobias Ellwood, head of the Defense Committee of the House of Commons of the British Parliament, said this. The British counterpart is supported by Adam Kinzinger, a member of the US House of Representatives. He also stressed that a potential accident with a radiation leak at the ZNPP, provoked by Russian occupiers, could be interpreted as an attack on NATO states.

Article 5 of the Washington Treaty states that an attack on any of the member states of the Alliance is considered an attack on all of them. This article was first invoked in response to the September 11 terrorist attacks against the United States of America.

Russian propagandists are constantly trying to discredit the partnership between Ukraine and the West and devalue the military assistance of these countries. More details.
