In fact, this time Russian propagandists distorted the news about the rocket attack on Shepetivka, which took place on Ukraine's Independence Day. Critical infrastructure was hit, police said, and windows and doors in nearby homes and a school were blown off by the blast. As a result of the hit, 3 people were injured - a woman and two children.

Near Shepetivka in the village of Sudylkiv in Soviet times there was a military airfield. Historians in their writings recall that it was bombed during the Second World War. During the independence of Ukraine, the airfield did not function.
