This thesis is spread by propagandists and anonymous telegram channels. The report says that the status of Kherson allegedly has not changed. Like, Kherson remains a part of Russia because the population voted in a referendum for joining Russia.

In fact, the Kherson region is and remains a part of sovereign Ukraine. The entire civilized world did not recognize the results of pseudo-referendums and the creation of "people's republics". International law recognizes Ukrainian borders established in 1991. That is, Ukrainian laws now apply to the Kherson region.

In addition, Kherson is a de-occupied territory now. It is the Ukrainian military, not the Russian one, who is there now.

Propagandists call the temporarily occupied and de-occupied territories Russia, which in fact is not. In this way, they only continue to deceive the population of Russia and talk about "victories" that do not exist.

Such information is disseminated in social networks and anonymous telegram channels, in particular, the SOLOVIEV channel. The reports say that Ukrainian intelligence had agreed in advance with local volunteers to prepare for the arrival of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so the activists took up staged videos. Like, the enslaved Ukrainians are forced to pretend to be happy from the arrival of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, this is not true.

In fact, the General staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a series of videos from the liberated Kherson. The video was created today at 15:24 as evidenced by its source data. That is, a video filmed in advance is out of the question.

In addition, such videos were published from the previously liberated Kharkiv region. However, propagandists again tried to refute this and call the video fake and staged.

Propagandists are trying to refute the fact that Ukrainians are waiting for the liberation of territories. Thus, they want to justify their thesis that Ukrainians are happy to see Russia on their territory. They have been convincing for more than 8 months that the Ukrainians are happy for the Russians, however, the videos show the opposite.

The network got a letter with instructions for journalists, in which propagandists share new recommendations due to the high level of discontent among the population, including those conscripted.

Among the recommendations propagandists were offered:

do not use the term "mobiki" in order to supposedly treat the mobilized more respectfully;

The Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the manuals, are recommended to be called "militants" and "armed formations". Also, in no case should they use the generally accepted abbreviation “AFU” (Armed Forces of Ukraine);

the military leadership of Ukraine is asked to attribute to the "Western curators of Kyiv";

explosions and guerrilla sabotage are asked not to be called "claps" anymore, this time they are asked not to use the newspeak as it is"making population nervous";

those who left Russia after the announcement of mobilization are recommended to be ridiculed, calling them "ubiezhant" (refugees) and "pieriezhdun" (those who wait), and it is noted that words should be avoided that will hint to listeners that people left the country of their own free will.

The emergence of new manuals indicates that there is a problem in Russian society, and discontent is growing.

Pro-Russian telegram channels write about this in the context of the liberation of the right-bank Kherson region. They say that with the arrival of the Ukrainian army, constant shelling at civilians will begin. Also, allegedly, this is the “end” to all the inhabitants of Kherson who collaborated with the Russians. And according to propagandists, those are "tens of thousands".

In fact, the Ukrainian army will not shell the de-occupied territories of the Kherson region because there are both civilian Ukrainians and Ukrainian troops there. Only Russians can strike at the liberated territories.

Regarding the intimidation of the inhabitants of the Kherson region about the "reprisal", the Russians used the same tactics during the liberation of the Kiev region, Chernihiv region, Kharkiv region. In particular, propagandists wrote that the Ukrainian military shelled people's houses in Bucha because people took help from the Russians. They also spread fake news that in the liberated territories everyone who does not support Ukrainian nationalism will be executed.

During the counter-offensive in the Kharkiv region, anonymous pro-Kremlin telegram channels were on the alert, assuring that Ukraine would launch messages that the Russians had tortured civilians in the occupied Kharkiv region. They also claimed that the SSU (Security service of Ukraine) was preparing a punitive operation against citizens loyal to Russia in Kharkiv. Also, allegedly, Ukrainians will be punished for receiving Russian humanitarian aid in the temporarily occupied territories.

Thus, Russian propaganda is trying to spread the narrative about “Ukrainian nazi punishers” and act proactively in order to hide the crimes of the Russian army in the temporarily occupied territories.

Such information is distributed in social networks and anonymous telegram channels. The report says that the United States wants to get rid of the Ukrainian leadership, which is why they will take such actions: the creation of an artificial tsunami. Like, thanks to this provocation, the Ukrainian leadership will capitulate. However, this is not true.

According to EU vs Disinfo fact-checkers, there is no evidence to support that the US is preparing deadly provocations in Ukraine. On the contrary, in particular in the context of Russia's latest allegations that Ukraine is preparing to use a dirty bomb, diplomats from France, Britain and the United States consider Russia's false statements to be a pretext that Moscow has invented to escalate the war.

That is, the entire international community is conducting certain observations, and even if such a provocation were being prepared, the Western countries would sound the alarm.

In addition, seismic activity (tsunami caused by an earthquake underwater) is observed in the oceans and seas, not at all in the rivers. For such a phenomenon, the river is rather shallow.

Propagandists are trying to spread this fake to nourish the narrative that the US and other Western countries want to get rid of the Ukrainian leadership. Allegedly, Ukraine is guided by undesirable or incompetent people.

To carry out information campaigns, the Russians were building their network abroad long before the start of a full-scale invasion, but with the onset of the great war, the concentration of these networks increased significantly. The special services of the partner countries are still identifying people who are either agents of Russia or "agents of influence" of Russia.

Andrii Cherniak, a representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, reports that the Russians are very interested in blocking the supply of weapons from our partners, because they understand that it will be very difficult for Ukraine without their military-technical assistance.

That is why propagandists discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine: they are trying to make it impossible for weapons to reach Ukraine by any means. Space reconnaissance, an intelligence network, and all means of political and economic blackmail are involved.

“The Russians are working with the media to carry out information operations, such as the fictitious sale of Western weapons by Ukraine or the use of a “dirty bomb” by our Armed Forces”, said the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

Russia spends millions of dollars to finance such a campaign. However, according to Andrii Cherniak, it is large-scale and inefficient. However, Russia does not stop trying to influence the West in this way.

Such information is distributed in social networks and anonymous telegram channels. The report says that Russia has asked the UN to conduct an international investigation into Ukraine's involvement in the operation of biological weapons. Like, in Russia there are documents containing descriptions of projects to study the possibility of spreading infections through insects. Allegedly, drones will spray dangerous substances and infect insects. However, this is not true.

According to EU VS Disinfo experts, Ukraine is a signatory to the binding UN Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction, which entered into force in 1975.

In addition, the United States strongly refuted the pro-Kremlin thesis about the spread of biological weapons by Ukraine. U.S. Ambassador Thomas Greenfeld at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Russia's unfounded accusations of biological weapons programs in Ukraine on October 26, 2022 noted:

“Russia’s assertions are absurd for many reasons, including because such species, even if they could be weaponized, would pose as much a threat to the European continent and to Ukraine itself as they would to any other country. Bear in mind, much like Russia, birds and bats don’t tend to observe or respect sovereign borders”, Thomas-Greenfield said.

Propagandists have repeatedly spread fakes about the development or operation of biological weapons in Ukraine. In this way, they are trying to intimidate the international community and convince them that Ukraine is resorting to prohibited actions during the war, such as the use of biological or chemical weapons.
