Fake Ukraine sentenced to death the founder of Pink Floyd
This is written in anonymous telegram channels. Allegedly, Roger Waters was put on the "Peacemaker" list and sentenced to death for his statements about Crimea. It is not true.
The musician was indeed included in the list of the Peacemaker for his statements regarding the status of Crimea. Waters said that allegedly Russia has all the rights to the Crimea, and the change of power in Ukraine was planned by Washington. This is the reason for the listing. However, the Peacemaker Center is a Ukrainian non-governmental organization engaged in the study of crimes against the national security of Ukraine, peace, the security of mankind and the international legal order. The organization asks law enforcement agencies to consider the information they publish on the website as a statement about a crime against national security. Therefore, the inclusion of public figures in the list usually leads to reputational losses. As for the death penalty, this type of punishment has been excluded from the list of those used in Ukraine since 2000.
Probably, in this way, Russian propaganda is once again trying to convince foreigners that Ukrainians are Nazis. Earlier propagandists said that in Ukraine the synod of the Russian Orthodox Church was sentenced to death. More details.
